Martin Grech, born 14 November 1982 in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, is an English singer‑songwriter who emerged from the local pop‑rock scene with a distinctive falsetto. He first attracted attention with the EP Dali (2002) and the single "Father And Mother Figure" (2004), which showcased his melodic sensibilities and earned him a growing fan base. In June 2002, Grech released his debut album Open Heart Zoo, produced by Andy Ross; the title track, written at fifteen, reached Number 54 on the UK Albums Chart and was featured in a British Lexus advertisement. He followed with the album Unholy (2005), which received positive reviews and was supported by a UK tour. After parting with Island Records, he issued the album March of the Lonely (2007) on his own label, marking a shift toward a more acoustic sound. Subsequent projects included the album Hush Mortal Core (2020), released through Patreon, and the forthcoming Dragon's Blood (2025). Throughout his career, Grech collaborated with artists such as TesseracT, GUNSHIP, and Guy Sigsworth, and contributed to film scores for Blood River (2009), Luster (2010), and Junkie (2012). His work remains a notable example of early‑2000s British pop‑rock evolution.
