Cesium 137, an American futurepop act composed of Isaac Glendening, Matt Cargill, and Vince Guzzardo, formed in 1998. Their initial release was Advanced/Decay in 2001 on Tonedeaf Records, featuring the dance track "Regrets" that became a hit. Following the September 11 attacks, Cargill left to join the U.S. military. The duo then had a hiatus before releasing Elemental in 2004 on Metropolis Records and the EP Luminous. In 2006, they released Intelligent Design, followed by "Flight" as a digital single in 2008. Cesium 137's music often explores themes of self-exile and perseverance. The duo continued to release albums, including Science And Sound in 2012 and Rise To Conquer in 2018.
