KRAKE, that’s the German word for kraken, which doesn’t have anything to do with anything, but KRAKE are 3 guys with 6 arms from the Berlin underground.
Their sound lives somewhere between heavy desert stoner rock and slow crushing doom metal.
As you may notice, the band writes in English and in German, for which there isn’t any particular reason other than ‘stuff comes out the way it comes out.
The three KRAKE dudes are Thorsten Rock, Chang Ziegenhagen, and Lucas Worisch, and they started their journey in late 2024.
By July 2025 they had released the first two songs, Loch and Flocati Speed Bomb and were already playing shows like the Stoned from the Underground Festival, and Heavy Psych Sounds Fest.
