16 Down is an alternative pop rock band from Zwolle, Netherlands, formed in 1997 by former members of the Prodigal Sons. The group released the debut single “Subtle Movements” (2001), which reached number 67 on the Dutch charts. Their first album, Headrush (2001), featured the singles “Heaven Still Cries” and “If The Money's Right”, with the latter including guest vocals by Rudeboy of the Urban Dance Squad. In 2003, the band issued the album Life in a Fishbowl, preceded by the single “The Day That I Met You”. Their third album, F.L.O., was released at Paradiso in Amsterdam in 2007. Frontman Marco Hovius established his own recording studio in 2011.
