Puente Celeste, an Argentine music group founded in 1997, was known for their diverse musical influences that include jazz, tango, Latin American folk music, and Klezmer. The band's initial breakthrough came with the release of Santiago Vazquez & Puente Celeste (1997), which earned them a Clarín Award for the Best Musical Album and was named Revelation of the Year. Their subsequent albums include Pasando el mar (2002), Mañana domingo (2004), and Canciones (2009). Puente Celeste also notably received a Konex Award (Diploma of Merit) in jazz music in 2005.
