Rabbitt, a South African pop rock band, was formed in Johannesburg in 1972 by Duncan Faure, Trevor Rabin, Ronnie Robot, and Neil Cloud. Evolving from The Conglomeration, Rabbitt released their debut single "Locomotive Breath / And The Planets Danced" in 1972. Their breakthrough came with the hit "Charlie", which topped the South African charts in 1976. That year, they released Boys Will Be Boys!, featuring notable tracks like "Hard Ride" and "Lifeline". In 1977, Rabbitt released two more albums: Rock Rabbitt and A Croak & A Grunt In The Night. The band disbanded in 1978 following Rabin's departure.
