Salvador Domínguez, born on May 10, 1953, in Madrid, Spain, is a Spanish guitarist and composer. He began playing guitar at age 12 and worked as a session musician in the early 1970s. Domínguez released his debut solo album, Banana, in 1978, followed by Recién Pinchado in 1979. He collaborated with Miguel Ríos on tracks like "Rocanrol bumerang" and composed songs such as "Reina de la noche". In 1982, he formed the band Banzai, releasing Banzai in 1983 and Duro y Potente in 1984. After Banzai disbanded, Domínguez formed Tarzen, releasing Tarzen and Madrid. Following Tarzen's dissolution in 1991, he returned to his solo career with albums like Sangre en la arena (1992) and Psicópatas urbanos (1997). Domínguez has also authored books on rock music history.
