Magnetic Morning, originally known as The Setting Suns, was an American indie rock duo formed in New York City. The group consisted of Adam Franklin and Sam Fogarino, who met in early 2006 through a mutual friend. They released their debut six-track EP The Setting Suns on iTunes on October 18, 2007, under the name The Setting Suns. Shortly after, they renamed themselves Magnetic Morning due to a naming conflict with another entity. A five-track CD version of the EP was released through DH Records on April 19, 2008. Their first full-length album A.M. followed in January 27, 2009, under Friend or Faux Recordings.
