Vomito Negro is a Belgian electronic band that formed in 1983. The ensemble was founded by the musicians Gin Devo and Guy Van Mieghem and is famous for being pioneers of the Belgian EBM scene and for their 2010 comeback recording Skull & Bones. They achieved early professional recognition in 1985 with the release of their eponymous debut EP, which led to a contract with KK Records. Their discography includes the studio recordings Dare (1987), Shock (1989), Human (The Cross on Nature's Back) (1990), and The New Drug (1991). Following a 1993 car accident involving Van Mieghem that caused a temporary cessation of musical activities, the group underwent a prolonged hiatus. The ensemble resumed activity in 2008 and released Skull & Bones (2010), which reached number 2 on the German Alternative Charts. Their later work includes the studio recordings Fall of an Empire (2013), Death Sun (2014), and Black Plague (2017).
