Trümmer is a German rock band from Hamburg established in 2012. The ensemble consists of vocalist and guitarist Paul Pötsch, guitarist Helge Hasselberg, drummer Paul-Jakob Dinkelacker, and bassist Maurice Meyer. Their recording career began with the debut extended play Es passiert immer irgendetwas (2012). The ensemble reached wider visibility for its debut eponymous studio recording Trümmer (2014), which reached number 72 on the German album charts. Trümmer subsequently released the studio recording Interzone (2016) followed by the studio recording Früher war gestern (2021). All of the group's studio recordings were produced by the band member Helge Hasselberg. The ensemble reached professional recognition in 2014 when they received the Preis der deutschen Schallplattenkritik and the Hamburger Musikpreis for best newcomer. They reached professional recognition in 2015 after receiving a nomination for the ECHO award in the category Critics’ Prize National. The ensemble also composed the rock opera Vincent (2015).
