Todd Thibaud is an American singer-songwriter based in Boston, Massachusetts. Raised in Burlington, Vermont, he moved to Boston in 1987 to pursue music. He co-founded and fronted the power pop group Courage Brothers, which released two independent albums in the early 1990s before disbanding. Thibaud subsequently pursued a solo career, releasing his critically acclaimed debut album, Favorite Waste of Time, in 1997. His songs appeared on television series including Melrose Place, 7th Heaven, and Smallville. He later released Little Mystery (1999) and Squash (2002) and participated in the singer-songwriter collaboration Hardpan with Chris Burroughs, Terry Lee Hale, and Joseph Parsons. Thibaud has toured extensively in the United States and has continued to perform and release music independently, primarily around Boston.
