AC Acoustics

AC Acoustics were a Scottish indie rock band from Glasgow, formed in 1990. Their first recording was the 1992 demo Wrist Eye, which secured them a contract with Elemental Records and led to their debut single "Sweatlodge" (1993). The band's debut album, Able Treasury (1994), showcased their unique song titles. AC Acoustics featured twice in John Peel's annual Festive 50 chart, with "Stunt Girl" reaching number 26 in 1996 and "I Messiah Am Jailer" at number 19 in 1997. They also released several EPs, including Like Ribbons (1998) and She's With Stars (1998), before moving to Cooking Vinyl in 2000. Their final albums were Understanding Music (2000) and O (2002). The band split up in 2003.
