Maria Antónia Teixeira Rosa, known professionally as Mia Rose, was born on January 26, 1988, in Wimbledon, and is a singer-songwriter. She gained prominence through her online video channel, becoming one of the top three Most Viewed Artists and the Most Subscribed Singer in 2009. In May 2009, Mia Rose released her debut single "Let Go", which became Portugal's best-selling download that year and reached number 2 on the Portuguese charts. She followed this with the double A-side single "What Would Christmas Be Like?/Fallin’ For You" in December 2009. Mia Rose has notably collaborated with Ace of Base, and also ventured into acting, appearing in the Brazilian miniseries Acampamento de Férias 2 - A Árvore da Vida and the American series Exit Vine.
