The Del Fuegos waren eine 1980 gegründete amerikanische Rockband aus Boston, die von den Brüdern Dan Zanes (Gitarre und Gesang) und Warren Zanes (Gitarre) angeführt wurde und deren Besetzung sich im Laufe der 1980er Jahre veränderte. Ihr Debütalbum The Longest Day wurde 1984 bei Slash Records veröffentlicht und erreichte Platz 20 in den UK Indies; der Nachfolger Boston, Mass. folgte 1985. Der Durchbruch der Band kam 1986, als "Don't Run Wild" und "I Still Want You" die Charts stürmten und die Gruppe in einem Miller-Bier-Werbespot auftrat. 1989 erhielten sie einen Vertrag mit RCA/BMG für ihr Album Smoking In The Fields, das in den USA Platz 139 erreichte. Die Gruppe tourte ausgiebig und spielte unter anderem im Vorprogramm von Tom Petty. Nach einer kurzen Pause im Jahr 1990, die durch den Weggang von Warren Zanes und Schlagzeuger Woody Giessmann verursacht wurde, fand sich die Band 2011 für Reunion-Shows im Paradise Rock Club wieder zusammen und nahm im Februar 2012 die EP Silver Star auf, die am 21. Februar 2012 veröffentlicht wurde. Spätere Reunion-Auftritte fanden 2023 und 2024 statt, mit einem geplanten Auftritt am 13. September 2025. Die Del Fuegos sind bekannt für ihren Beitrag zum Garagenrock der 1980er Jahre und ihren anhaltenden regionalen Einfluss.
