Aluk Todolo is a French rock ensemble from Grenoble established in 2004. The group consists of the musicians Antoine Hadjioannou, Matthieu Canaguier, and Shantidas Riedacker. They achieved professional recognition for a musical style characterized by psychedelic rock, krautrock, and black metal. The ensemble achieved professional recognition for assuming a name taken from an animist cult in Indonesia. Their recording career began with the debut eponymous extended play Aluk Todolo (2006) released on the label Public Guilt. Aluk Todolo achieved professional recognition for the debut studio recording Descension (2007) which was recorded in the Elders Cave. Their discography included the studio recording Finsternis (2009) and the split recording On the Powers of the Sphinx (2010). The ensemble achieved professional recognition for the studio recording Occult Rock (2012) and the studio recording Voix (2016). Their recording career included the studio recording Lux (2024). Aluk Todolo achieved professional recognition for the compilation recording Archives Vol. 1 (2017).
