Electro Assassin was an English electro-industrial music project formed in 1990 in London, United Kingdom, by composer Kevin Gould. Gould, who had previously performed with the group Johnson Engineering Co., founded the project as an outlet for his solo compositions. The debut album, Jamming the Voice of the Universe, was released in 1992 by Hyperium Records and Concrete Productions, featuring vocalist Ian Taylor. This was followed by Bioculture (1993), which represented Taylor's final release with the project. In 1995, the third album, The Divine Invasion, was released through Synthetic Symphony and Cyber-Tec Records, introducing Richard McKinlay on vocals, and was reissued in the United States by Fifth Colvmn Records in September 1995. Gould also recorded under the name Nexus Project via Rebel Scum Productions.
