The Majority Says, a pop group from Linköping, formed in 2010 after the split of Mio Negga, with Hanna Antonsson and Axel Engström joining the lineup. The band released its debut album Under Streetlights in 2012 on a limited Scandinavian edition, followed by the EP Best Night Ever that featured "114", which appeared in a Viasat Film advertisement. In 2013, the EP Between Love and Simple Friends saw the single "Run Alone" in German films Vaterfreuden and Irre sind männlich. Their self‑titled international debut launched in August 2014 on Warner Music Group, after which the group opened for Philipp Poisel and James Blunt in Europe. Lineup changes in 2015 led to a hiatus, and the group announced in 2017 that they were working on a new album.
