Dundertåget, originally known as Thunder Express, is a Swedish hard rock band formed in 2004 by Robert Dahlqvist. Initially a side project to showcase Dahlqvist's lead guitar and vocal skills during breaks from his main band the Hellacopters, the group began performing under the name Thunder Express, inspired by an MC5 song. Their early albums, We Play for Pleasure (2004) and Republic Disgrace (2007), were released in English. In 2008, they switched to Swedish for their lyrics and changed their name to Dundertåget. Under this new identity, they released Skaffa ny frisyr (2010) and Dom feta åren är förbi (2010). The latter featured a guest appearance by Nina Ramsby. Dundertåget became inactive shortly after. Dahlqvist released solo material before his death in 2017.
