Boston Spaceships was an American rock band formed in 2008 by Robert Pollard of Guided By Voices, Chris Slusarenko of Guided By Voices, and John Moen of The Decemberists and Perhapst. Their debut album Brown Submarine (2008) received positive reviews. In 2009, they released two more albums: The Planets Are Blasted (2009) and Zero to 99 (2009), the latter being highly acclaimed by Magnet Magazine. They disbanded in 2011 after releasing their final album, the double LP Let It Beard (2011). Other notable releases include the album Our Cubehouse Still Rocks (2010).
