Little Village was an American rock band formed in 1992, comprising John Hiatt, Ry Cooder, Nick Lowe, and Jim Keltner. The group's origins began in 1987 when Cooder, Lowe, and Keltner performed on Hiatt's acclaimed album Bring the Family (1987). Five years later, the four musicians reunited under the name Little Village to release their self-titled debut studio album, Little Village (1991), through Reprise Records, which featured an appearance by Sonny Boy Williamson II. The release included the singles “Solar Sex Panel”, “Don't Go Away Mad”, and “She Runs Hot”. Following the release, the group embarked on a tour that included a performance at the Palais des Sports de Paris on July 3, 1992, supported by Calvin Russell. Their live recordings from that year include Stage Job (1992), which was recorded at the Arie Crown Theatre in Chicago on April 15, 1992, as well as Living Action (1992) and Anywhere, USA (1992). The band dissolved in 1992.
