Stigmata is a Russian metalcore group founded in Saint Petersburg in 2000. After beginning their live career in 2003, the band quickly became part of Russia’s alternative-metal scene. Their debut album, Conveyor of Dreams, was released in 2004, followed by More Than Love (2005) and the self-titled album in 2007. The band gained recognition through extensive touring and performances with international metal acts including Killswitch Engage, Caliban, Slipknot, Korn, Bullet for My Valentine, and Ozzy Osbourne. Their later albums included My Way (2010), Based on True Events (2012), and Mainstream? (2017). They continued releasing singles and performing throughout the 2020s, including “Generation Z,” “Poles,” “In the Ocean of Bones,” “Sea and Ships,” and “Imposter Syndrome.”
