Sinéad Lohan, born in 1971 in Cork, Ireland, is a singer and songwriter known for her contributions to folk and country music. In 1991, she began performing regularly at The Lobby, a local music venue, marking the start of her professional career. Her debut album, Who Do You Think I Am, was released in 1995 under Dara Records and featured the tracks "Sailing By" and "If I Go". In 1997, Lohan toured as a support act for The Blue Nile. Her second album, No Mermaid, was released by Interscope Records in 1998 following a bidding war among major labels. This album included the single "Whatever It Takes", which reached number 16 on the Irish charts. Lohan's music has been featured in various media, including the film Message in a Bottle and the television series Dawson’s Creek.
