Blind Stare, a Finnish melodic death metal band from Turku, was formed in 1999 by guitarists Anders Öström and Heikki Raisio, along with drummer Henry Valkonen. The group initially played instrumental metal before adding vocals with the arrival of Eino Tuominen in 2001. Their first demo, Ender, was released in October 2002, followed by Once a True Story in August 2003. These releases garnered attention and concert opportunities. From May to August 2004, they recorded the EP The Reborn Genius, which led to a contract with Arise Records and the release of their debut album, Symphony of Delusions, in 2005. The band faced challenges due to members' military service and label issues but continued with releases like Promo 2009 & Demo 2009 (2009) and The Dividing Line (2012).
