Gary B.B. Coleman, born on January 1, 1947, in Paris, Texas, was an American soul blues guitarist, singer, songwriter, and record producer. By age 15, he was working alongside Freddie King and later supported Lightnin' Hopkins in concert before forming his own group. In 1985, Coleman created Mr. B's Records, releasing his debut album Nothin' But The Blues in 1986. Coleman's subsequent albums included If You Can Beat Me Rockin' (1988), One Night Stand (1988), and Dancin' My Blues Away (1989) and were released on Ichiban Records. He also produced albums for other artists such as Blues Boy Willie, Chick Willis, Little Johnny Taylor, and Buster Benton. Coleman died on February 14, 1994.
