Ladies of the Canyon is a Canadian roots rock ensemble from Montreal established in 2005. The group consists of the musicians Tara Martin, Maïa Davies, Jasmine Bleile, and Anna Ruddick. They achieved professional recognition for a musical style characterized by roots, rock, country, and Americana. Their recording career began with the debut eponymous extended play Ladies Of The Canyon. Ladies of the Canyon achieved professional recognition for the debut studio recording Haunted Woman (2010) released on the label Kindling/Warner Music Canada. Their discography included the studio recording Diamond Heart (2013). The ensemble achieved professional recognition for receiving a nomination for Rising Star at the Canadian Country Music Association awards in 2011. They achieved professional recognition for performing as the opening act for the ensemble Barenaked Ladies in 2014. Musician Senja Sargeant was a member of the group until she was replaced by Martin in 2012.
