Seventy Times Seven

Formed in 2009 in Recife, Seventy Times Seven—formerly known as “70×7”—has established itself as a powerful force in the Christian metalcore scene in Northeastern Brazil. The band began with screamo and post-hardcore influences, gradually evolving toward a more solid metalcore sound while maintaining powerful lyrics about faith, inner struggles, confrontation, and hope.

The band has performed at renowned festivals within the metal and rock circuit, standing out for its energy and intensity on stage. Some of the most important events they have played include Underblood Fest, Noite do Metal, Contra-mão Music Festival, among others.

After a nine-year hiatus following their last show in 2016, Seventy Times Seven returned in 2025 with renewed strength. With a new full lineup and a revitalized schedule, the band is ready to resume its mission of communicating through heavy music, inspired by faith and the everyday realities of its audience.
