Berlin Comedian Harmonists

The Berlin Comedian Harmonists, a German vocal ensemble from Berlin, were formed as a tribute to the original Comedian Harmonists of the late 1920s and early 1930s. The group originated from the cast of the musical play Veronika, der Lenz ist da – Die Comedian Harmonists, which premiered on December 19, 1997 at the Komödie am Kurfürstendamm in Berlin. Following the success of the play and a subsequent film adaptation, the singers began performing internationally. The group released albums including Veronika der Lenz ist da: Die Comedian Harmonists (1998) and Die Liebe kommt, die Liebe geht (2014). Notable achievements include winning the Golden Curtain in 1998 and the Berlin Bear in 1999.
