Donald Glaude, from Tacoma, Washington, worked as an American house music artist, DJ, and remixer. Glaude began a musical journey with classical training on the upright bass and violin before experimenting with tape decks. Glaude started playing at nightclubs by the mid-1980s, gaining recognition in early turntablism. An early residency took place at 6th & Proctor in Tacoma. In the early 1990s, Glaude held a Friday residency at the Underground nightclub in Seattle. The DJ founded the vanity labels Durty Records and Eden Records. Glaude released records including Sampling The Future (1997) and This Is Me (2005). The artist's distinctive deep bass rhythm sound and occasional breaks to shout enthusiastically got the crowd pumped up.
