Vacaciones was a Spanish indie pop band from Murcia active between 1998 and 2006. The ensemble consisted of Ruth, Rafa Skam, José Alberto, Ángel Pop, Carlos77, Encarna, Ana González and María del Mar. The group's musical style was influenced by 1960s pop and British indie pop. The band released its debut recording, the EP Dani, in 1999 through the label Elefant Records. Their recording history also featured the singles “Espero una respuesta” (2000) and “Un año de... Vacaciones” (2000). The ensemble subsequently issued its debut studio album, Sonreír (2002), which was produced by Carlos Hernández. During its career, the band performed at festivals including Primavera Sound and FIB. The group issued its second studio recording, Emmaboda, in 2005. Following the band's disbandment in 2006, the ensemble gave a final performance in 2008 at the Lemon Pop festival.
