Schneewittchen, a duo from Hanover, Germany, was formed in 1995 by singer and songwriter Marianne Iser and musician Thomas Duda. Initially performing as Marianne Iser & Thomas Duda, they adopted the name Schneewittchen following a comparison made by the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung in March 2000. Their music blends pop, chanson, and rock elements. Schneewittchen released their debut album, Töte mich ganz, in 1998 under their original name. Following this, they released several notable albums including Schneewittchen (2003), Keine Schmerzen (2006), and Perlen vor die Säue (2008). The duo also produced several music videos, including "Sonnenuntergang" and "Leere weiße Wände". Schneewittchen collaborated with the Ballett Magdeburg for a choreography based on their album Keine Schmerzen, which premiered in January 2007 at the Theater Magdeburg.
