Amara Beat is a sound project built at the intersection of African rhythmic tradition and European electronic music culture.
Deep tribal percussion, organic kora and kalimba textures, warm rolling basslines — the language of Afro House, used to find the precise moment where the dancefloor becomes something closer to ceremony. Where the body moves and the mind goes quiet.
The Afro House movement rewrote the rules of electronic music from the ground up. What @Black Coffee carried out of eThekwini — the spirit, the weight, the groove — found its way into the clubs of Berlin, Ibiza, and beyond. Amara Beat aligns with this European lineage: collectives like @Keinemusik, who approach the music as deep listening rather than imitation. A conversation held in bass frequencies and percussion layers.
Conceived and produced within MeganRZ Studio, a Lake Constance-based creative collective working at the edge of electronic music and global sound design.
