Amici Del Vento, a folk rock group from Italy, was formed in 1975 in Turin. The band's founding members included Carlo Venturino, Cristina Constantinescu, Marco Venturino, and Guido Giraudo. Their early performances were primarily within right-wing alternative music circles. Amici Del Vento gained initial traction with their first cassette release, Trama Nera, in 1977. The group's popularity grew through participation in events like the Campi Hobbit gatherings organized by the Italian Social Movement. Tragically, Carlo Venturino died in a motorcycle accident in December 1983. After a hiatus, the remaining members released a cassette, Vecchio Ribelle, in 1993. This led to the release of their first CD, Progressista Rap, in 1995. The group continued with occasional performances and releases, including Opera Omnia after a reunion in 2010.
