Burn Halo, an American rock band, was formed in 2007 by James Hart, lead singer of Orange County metalcore band Eighteen Visions. After Eighteen Visions disbanded, Hart secured a label deal with Island/Def Jam and began working on Burn Halo's self-titled debut album with songwriter Zac Maloy. The album featured studio musicians including Nickelback drummer Daniel Adair and former Jane's Addiction bassist Chris Chaney. Released in 2009, via Rawkhead Rekords through Warner Music Group, the album included singles "Save Me" and "Dirty Little Girl", which featured Avenged Sevenfold guitarist Synyster Gates. The band toured extensively in support of the album, opening for acts like Escape the Fate, Avenged Sevenfold, and Puddle of Mudd. In 2011, Burn Halo released their second album Up from the Ashes, with the single "Tear It Down". Their third album, Wolves of War, followed in 2015.
