Moonlit Sailor, a Swedish post-rock band from Borås, was formed in 2006. The group initially consisted of Joakim Wiik on keyboards and guitar, Oscar Gullbrandsen on guitar, Adam Törnblad on drums, guitar, and piano, and Markus Rundlöf on bass. Their album A Footprint of Feelings was released in 2008. The following year, they released So Close to Life, and embarked on a European tour in 2010, performing in Germany, Austria, the United Kingdom, and Finland. In 2011, Moonlit Sailor released Colors in Stereo. Tragically, Törnblad passed away on May 8, 2017 at the age of 27.
