In 2001, they were awarded the Kate Wolf Memorial Award by the World Folk Music Association. Subsequent albums as The Kennedys include Half a Million Miles (2005), Songs of the Open Road (2006), and Better Dreams (2008). They have performed extensively in the United States, including at Bill Clinton's inaugurations.
