Rinoa was a post-metal band from Essex, United Kingdom, formed in 2007 by Perry Bryan, Matthew Holden, Jozef Norocky, David Gumbleton, and James May. The band released their debut EP Rinoa in 2008 via Eyesofsound, produced by Johnny Renshaw of Devil Sold His Soul. In the following years, they performed at various concerts and festivals across the UK and the Netherlands. Their first album, An Age Among Them, was released in 2010. The band's music is often compared to post-hardcore and post-metal genres, with influences from bands like Envy and Hopesfall. During a tour in the Netherlands, Holden left the group, leading Rinoa to fulfill their remaining commitments before disbanding in November 2010.
