Girl on Fire was a Seattle-based rock band formed in 2007, consisting of vocalist Austin Held, guitarists Nick McMahan and Nicholas Wiggins, bassist Josh Mouser, and drummer Harry MacDonald. The group began their musical journey by recording demos and performing extensively around the Seattle area. Their breakthrough moment came in 2011 with the release of their debut EP Revenge, which was recorded with Wil Francis. In 2013, Girl on Fire released their first full-length album Not Broken under Century Media Records, debuting at number 25 on Billboard's Heatseekers chart. The album featured notable singles such as "The Takedown", which peaked at number 44 and garnered over five million plays on a streaming platform. The band toured extensively with acts like Buckcherry, Halestorm, Pop Evil, and Filter, performing at major festivals including Aftershock and Rockville. Girl on Fire's final show was in September 2015 before disbanding that same year.
