Sarah Borges is an American singer from Taunton, Massachusetts, who studied musical theater at Emerson College. She broke into the music scene with a 2004 performance at South by Southwest that earned her a deal with Blue Corn Records and the release of her debut album Silver City in 2005, noted for blending alternative rock and country. She later signed with Sugar Hill Records and issued Diamonds in the Dark (2007), featuring the cover "Come Back to Me" and versions of Tom Waits songs. She followed with The Stars Are Out in 2009, which earned her and her backing band a nomination for Best Emerging Artist at the Americana Music Association festival in Nashville; Radio Sweetheart in 2014; the EP Good & Dirty in 2016; and Love’s Middle Name in 2018, while touring regularly.
