Delphine Coutant, a French singer-songwriter born on January 22, 1976 in Saint-Nazaire France, began her musical journey as a violinist. In 2001, she started writing and composing her own songs, leading to the release of her debut album Alouette in 2002. This album earned her selections for the Printemps de Bourges and the festival Alors chante! in Montauban in 2003. Her second album, Comme le café empêche de s'étendre, was released in 2005. In 2007, Coutant co-founded the production company Comme le café with singer Hugues Pluviôse. She released her third album, La Marée, in April 2009, and launched her own label, La Cueilleuse. Her fifth album, La Nuit Philharmonique, produced by Matthieu Ballet and released in 2016, continued her exploration of nature-inspired themes with orchestral arrangements. Throughout her career, Coutant has collaborated on various music-theater projects and unique performances.
