Moonalice, an American rock band formed in 2007 from members of the Flying Other Brothers, began their career focusing on live performances. Their debut album, Moonalice, was released in 2009, followed by a series of singles including "Dave's Way." The band has consistently toured the United States and Canada since inception. In 2021, Moonalice expanded its lineup to ten musicians, adding vocalists Lester Chambers, Dylan Chambers, and the T Sisters: Erika, Chloe, and Rachel Tietjen. Their music evolved to incorporate the "Psychedelic Soul" sound popularized by Lester in the 1960s with his band The Chambers Brothers. In August 2012, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame acquired the digital logs for Moonalice's song "It’s 4:20 Somewhere," marking a milestone as the first band without a label to achieve one million downloads of a song from its own servers.
