The Watch is an Italian progressive rock band formed in 1997 in Milan, led by vocalist and principal songwriter Simone Rossetti. The group debuted as the Night Watch with the album Twilight (1997), before Rossetti reassembled the lineup as the Watch and released Ghost (2001) and Vacuum (2004). Subsequent releases included Primitive (2007), Planet Earth? (2010), Timeless (2011), and Tracks from the Alps (2014), alongside live recordings Live (2009) and Green Show 2011 – Official Live Bootleg (2012). Over the years, the band underwent multiple personnel changes, with Francesco Vaccarezza joining in 2022.
