Volto! is an American rock jam band formed in Los Angeles, California. The group was founded in 2003 by Tool's drummer Danny Carey, guitarist John Ziegler, keyboardist Jeff Babko, and bassist Lance Morrison. Ziegler and Morrison had previously collaborated in Pigmy Love Circus before forming Volto!. For nearly a decade, the band performed exclusively live until they entered the studio with producer Joe Barresi to record their debut album Incitare, released in 2013, via Fantasy Records. The album is noted for its instrumental jazz fusion style, blending elements of metal and jazz rock, where each musician contributed solos equally.
