Linsey Alexander, born on July 23, 1942, in Holly Springs, Mississippi was an American blues songwriter, vocalist, and guitarist. After learning guitar from a family friend, he moved to Chicago and began performing in local clubs like Kingston Mines. He released albums including Someone's Cookin' in My Kitchen (2004), If You Ain't Got It (2010), Been There Done That (2012) and Come Back Baby (2014). Alexander played with prominent blues artists, including Buddy Guy, A.C. Reed, Magic Slim, and B.B. King. He died in Chicago on February 22, 2025, aged 82.
