Joe Buck is an American country and punk rock musician born in Murray, Kentucky. Born Jim Finklea, he performed as lead vocalist and guitarist for the project Gringo, which released the studio albums Gringo (1995) and Combine (1997). During the late 1990s, he joined the band Th' Legendary Shack Shakers as a guitarist and performed on the studio album Cockadoodledon't (2003). Buck has also performed as a bassist for musician Hank Williams III and was a member of the group Assjack. As a solo artist using the moniker Joe Buck Yourself, his recording history featured the studio albums Joe Buck Yourself Motherfucker (2004), Joe Buck Yourself (2007), Piss and Vinegar (2010) and Who Dat? (2012).
