Stinking Lizaveta is a power trio. Their debut single "Refinery / Crooked Teeth" was released in 1994. The band's first album, ...Hopelessness and Shame, was recorded by Steve Albini and released in 1996. This led to their inclusion at the All Tomorrow's Parties festival in 2004. Their recordings were released on labels including Compulsiv and Tolotta Records, and later At a Loss Recordings and Monotreme Record. Albums include III (2001), Caught Between Worlds (2004), and Scream of the Iron Iconoclast (2007). Stinking Lizaveta supported acts like Clutch on a 2005 tour and toured with Corrosion of Conformity in 2006. Their discography includes the album Anthems and Phantoms (2023).
