Cherryholmes was an American bluegrass band from Los Angeles, California. They consisted of Jere Cherryholmes, Sandy Lee Cherryholmes, and their children Cia Leigh, Molly Kate, B.J., and Skip. In 1999, they began performing together after attending a local festival. They turned professional in 2000 and toured extensively. In 2005, they signed with Skaggs Family Records and won the International Bluegrass Music Association's 'Entertainers of the Year' award. Their notable albums include Cherryholmes (2005), Cherryholmes II: Black and White (2007), Cherryholmes III: Don't Believe (2008), and Cherryholmes IV: Common Threads (2010). They received five Grammy nominations and performed at venues like the Grand Ole Opry and Lincoln Center. They disbanded in 2011, with family members pursuing individual paths.
