Liquits, formed in 1993 in Mexico City, is a Mexican rock trio comprising Facundo, Teo, Edi, and Ro, who began performing together in school. Their breakthrough came with the single "Patito de Hule" from the 2001 debut album Karaoke, which led to a national tour and later performances in Spain. In 2004, they released Jardin, produced by Andrew Weiss and Emmanuel del Real, featuring the single "Chido". They were then asked to compose music for Duck Season, earning a Best Music Award for a Film at the Guadalajara Film Festival in 2004. Subsequent releases include Perfume Pantera (2007), Kimono en Llamas Y El Regreso de los Insectos (2009), Ven Ven (2012), and Safari de Noche (2016). After a six‑year hiatus following their 2019 disbandment, Liquits returned in 2026 with the album Déjà vu.
