Tourmaline

Tourmaline, an American rock band, was formed in June 2004 in New Jersey by guitarist and lead vocalist Matt Rauch, guitarist Ryan Baredes, drummer Max Rauch, keyboardist Corey Zaloom, and bassist Justin Niemiec. Their debut full‑length Strange Distress Calls was released on No Milk Records in 2005 and received positive reviews from AllMusic and other outlets, with the track "Blank" gaining college‑radio rotation. In March 2008, the band recorded The Swindle with producer Joe Mcgrath; the album was issued in the fall of 2008. Tourmaline disbanded in 2011.
