Los Dos y Compañeros, a salsa group from Amberg, Germany, was formed in 1996 by Michael Deiml and Walter Tröster. The band's inception was inspired by Walter Tröster's visit to Cuba and a radio competition that challenged participants to set the quote "Ich möchte Musik machen können" (Rainer Werner Fassbinder) to music. Their debut album, Wou hanna döi, was released in 2002, followed by Oda so in 2004. The group gained attention for their unique blend of Salsa and Oberpfälzer dialect, with subsequent albums including Kula Sack (2009) and Salsa Guerrilleros (2012). The band's lineup has evolved over time, with notable members including El Capitan (Tom Kramer), Don Macson (Walter Tröster), and Don Michon (Michael Deiml).
