Marko Elefteriadis, known professionally as Ektor, was born on December 4, 1985, in Dobřichovice, Czechoslovakia. He began his music career in 2008 with the release of Airon Meidan, co-produced with DJ Enemy. The debut album featured the pilot single "Vidim to jako včera" and received positive reviews. Ektor's solo career took off in 2011 with the release of his first solo album, Topství. Notable tracks from this period include "Nemáš zač". In 2015, Ektor released Detektor, followed by Detektor II in 2016 and Alfa in 2017. These albums featured collaborations with prominent artists such as Rytmus and Strapo. His subsequent releases include Marko (2019), Original (2020), and Detektor III (2023). Ektor's music has been highly successful, earning him multiple platinum certifications from IFPI for albums such as Tetris, Detektor, and Alfa. After the release of the album Sativa in 2024, the rapper got his most successful single with the number one "PTSD" in 2025.
